Good luck to all of you ladies, you can do it! I"ve been at 130lbs ever since my freshman year in college and wanted to drop 10 lbs...I've never had any luck until last year, first time I dropped 4lbs. Its all the running I did in preparation for my first 5k. I hate running but it's effective when you don't want to dramatically change your eating habits. My goal is another 9lbs for this year.

I have about 40lbs to lose it's very hard for me to lose weight. I have Crohn's & after a major surgery 5 yrs ago it just seems like my body is all out of whack. Add having a baby last year & it's really messed up! I don't eat a ton so it's frustrating to see the weight not coming off. I can't go to the gym because of the baby (not comfortable with leaving her with daycare). So, now that the weather is getting a bit better I'm going to start walking. Got a jogging stroller for the baby & hopefully I can get a bike & start biking soon, too

Good luck everyone!

Its SO HARD!!! I just run out of time to get to the gym. I wish I was motivated enough to go to town and work out before work, I get up early enough that is for sure! I like my am coffee/computor/news time. Days like today I do alot at my job, cleaning 3 places, and then my one client is 300lbs and a hoyer lift so thats a work out in itself, getting him up , on toilet, back to bed to dress then back into wheelchair. We do that same thing 3 visits a day with him. bed, hoyer to toilet, then hoyer back up into bed then dress him hoyer back to chair . It uses lots of muscles. After days like that I have no energy left.
I am looking forward to nicer weather and daylight, to be able to have time to take a walk when I get home.

I'm doing quite well this year at sticking to my exercise regime. I'm getting to gym 5 days a week for a 30 minute intensive workout and I'm being more careful about what I eat. I've only lost 7 pounds so far but 7cm too so I'm just going to keep going!

I'm at a stand still. I've been doing well with my workouts 5x a week. I've been doing the Walk a Mile DVDs. It goes up to 4 miles but I've been doing two. Starting tonight, I will be working out with some ladies from church and I've signed up for Zumba on Saturday mornings where Carley takes dance. It's discouraging that I've only lost 9 lbs since January but I'm going to keep with it. At least I feel better and I have more energy!

Oh you will love Zumba , Elisha!!! I did it a couple times at Curves and thought it would be more fun once I learned all the moves! Then they cancelled the class due to not enough people. I am hoping someone else starts teaching them close by soon!
