Hi all!�My name is Heather Nistler, and I along with my husband Bryan, purchased 3 Scrappy Boys in July 2008.� I had been a long-time design team member, and when the opportunity came....with three boys of our own, well, it just felt "right"!� My 3 Scrappy Boys are Alexander (10), Isaac (almost 9) and Harrison (6 in two weeks!)....and yes, they are quite scrappy!� They love to come into Mommy's scrap room and "get their scrap on".�

Bryan (Plunger Boy on the message boards) and I got married waaaaaay back when I was 19...well, I turned 20 at the reception, but technically I was 19!� We have been married for 11.5 years now.....so yes, I am now *gasp* 31!

I was so resistant to scrapbooking at first, but then, was sort of forced into it while in the hospital on besdrest while pregnant with Harrison.� I had my very first bag of scrappy goodies delieverd to me, and well...the rest you could say was history!� I was hooked!!! There was no stopping me!

My goal is to journal about my thoughts and feelings about the events - to give my kids an "insider's view" on my perspective.� I lost my mom at a young age and I wish I had her thoughts and feelings about events to looks back upon....this is the gift I am giving to my boys!

Let's see....a little know tidbit about me....ohhh!� I know.....divided plates were made for people like me!!!� I can't stand it when my food touches....blech! It drives me batty!� I know it is a bit neurotic, but I have my very own pink, cafeteria-style lunch plate saved for potlucks and such....a Pottery Barn Kids special.....I love it!!!

When I was 16 my mother went to a Creative Memories party and took me with
her. I had always been into paper and crafty stuff and I was instantly in
love with scrapbooking! I was intrigued by all the stickers, punches,
markers, paper and more!! I have been scrapbooking ever since! It is a
creative outlet for me and really lets me have some ME time! Well GIRLY time
for that matter.

I was 19 when I got married to Mike. We just celebrated our 10 year
anniversary December 22! WOW. Time goes fast!! (and in that sentence I also
told you how old I am!! HA!!) We have 3 boys (which was why this site caught
my eye in the first place!). Derrik is 9 (we got pregnant on our
honeymoon!), Hayden is 7, and Tanner is 4. They keep us pretty busy!! We
live in Wasilla, Alaska. I teach scrapbooking classes at The Scrapbasket and
have been doing so for about 4 years now! Mike is a manager at Best Buy and
commutes into Anchorage for work.

A few fun facts about me: I LOVE to play with Toys! I mean kid toys! I am
100 percent addicted to Mr. Potato Head. I have a HUGE rubbermaid tote FULL
of parts and pieces that I have collected and over 25 bodies. The kids and I
will sit and play for hours!! It is a blast! AND I honestly could sit and
play with Tanners GeoTrax train for a while. There is just something about
putting the train tracks together that fascinates me!

I have FIVE sisters and one brother. I am the oldest and it is funny because
my 2 oldest children are OLDER than my brother. (Heck I am 23 years older
than he is!!) He will be 6 in January! My youngest sister will be 12 in
January. There is a big gap in ages. It's definitely fun when they all get
together!� My parents have been married for 30 years now!! They got married
when they were 17! That is awesome!

Here is a weird fact: I am double jointed in my elbows... In both arms. I
can twist my arms around in a complete circle almost. It's kinda FREAKY to
look at. When I was living in England (dad was in the Air Force) I flew off
my bike and broke both my arms. And they healed weird and now I'm double
jointed. When I would raise my arm in class to answer a question my teachers
would comment that my arms looked broken! Kinda weird!!
